Somnath Temple; The Power of Re-construction !!!!

She calls the high school section of her kindergarten as 'Janaganamana school' !!!
Because there they sing the national anthem every evening.

She loves the cute senior girls studying in the janaganamana school !!!
Because they are always sympathetic to her, help her to get into the school bus, love her and always caring of her. She is the smallest passenger of that yellow school bus, sitting usually on somebody's laps.

One day she asked me about 'Punjab,Sindh,Gujarat,Marata'.

I loved her question. Because it was a great opportunity for me to introduce her the variety of north India. As an Indian, she would love the 'rich and varied heritage' of  India as the whole Americans or the great Israelis  proud of their country.

We traversed through the images of great Punjab, the five rivers,Indus valley civilization, the golden temple, the wheat fields......!!
She remarked that all the people of Punjab looked like Manmohan Singh.
I didn't remark that now Sindh belongs to Pakistan,as the stories of division are nothing but nonsense for children.( Let the Sindh remains there, till the ancient India completely rejoins to a new nation 'Indus valley' )
She loved the shape of Gujarat.
A rare photograph of the remains of Somnath temple of Gujarat attracted her.It was a great temple destroyed by Muhammed Ghazny, a Persian 'barbarian' in the 11 th century. But it was a new knowledge that it had been destroyed and reconstructed many times !!
                                         ***************************
After a fifteen minutes she came back,
"look here, I made the chomanathu temple."

Yes, she has constructed something using her building blocks !!
It appeared to have a 'distant similarity' with  the great Somnath temple !!But the 'greatest design' expected from a four year old one.

"The power of re-construction is stronger than the power destruction"
Yes, as her father and a story teller I am motivated to tell her more about her India. Her India is a magic pot filled with its colourful and unique history. She has to reveal more than discovered yet !!

ENTER THE GREAT CIVILIZATION !!!
